RECHAUD – SPICED ALE
Rechaud is a mild pale ale spiced with various peppers and black tea. The goal behind the development of this beer was to compliment traditional drinks enjoyed with cheese dinners. White wine, schnaps and black tea are no longer your only options with dinner. Rechaud is dry hopped with a special mix of various peppers, spices, and black tea. Dry hopping is when the additional infusion occurs during the lager or fermentation of the beer. It’s a more complex process than with traditional beers and adds considerable expense and time to complete.
